Hi,
I have been browsing around the forum for the past couple of weeks. Really like the contributions of all the members on here. Really friendly and informative content.
I bought my king a month ago. Its a 2008 Model bought with 25k on the clock. As soon as I got it, i dismantled it to pieces to give it a thorough cleanup. It had some crappy tail tidy kit so I chose to restore it to stock looks. I noticed it once had an exhaust fitted and the people who put the stock exhaust back in were not really sure what they were doing so I had to use quite a lot of schematics to get all the parts in order. I also changed the rear tyre to a 210 which made the bike look more aggressive.
The bike came really tidy now and I am just waiting for some finishing touches such as fork and frame sliders, radiator guards (all from evotech) and it will be ready for the road (sort of). I will use it as a once a month bike as I did with all my past bikes.
The bking is the most powerful bike I have ever owned though. I also help my brother in law build 1/4 mile bikes so I got some knowledge in that area...
I will post some pics when its completely ready, in the meantime I say hi to all from Sunny Malta
