Hi
I'm Martin. been into bikes for 30 plus years. I live in Plymouth, Devon in England. Just been for my first ride on a B king last weekend and loved it.
I have been reading reviews and gaining as much info as I can the last few days, then I came across your site, before I purchase the B king I was wondering if anyone could give me buying advise and inform me of any issues with these bikes ?
The machine I am looking at is a 2011 bike with 11,500 miles. Its due its 3rd year service now, I've been to my local Suzuki dealer who advised this service wasn't too bad but the next one involves valve clearances at approx. £500 all in.
The bike is pretty standard but with scorpion cans and a few crash bungs. Can some one please advise what the air box mod is ? (I saw it on here earlier)
Is a power commander advisable as it has after market cans ?
Any advise will be much appreciated

Martin

Hi martin , welcome to .org. I also have the 2011 one , there where 2 problems as I know of one being the rectifier and 2 being clutch bolts coming loose , My local dealer said these where both sorted
by 2011 , I have now done 19000 miles with no trouble what so ever , I kept mine mainly standard so not too well up on the mods , sure some one will put you right , in the mean time use the search button towards the top of the page most things have been covered , enjoy the forum mate thumbs up 2

hi and welcome,as dave stated there are a few things that can go wrong with 11 plated bike including the rectifier/clutch bolts, and of course the gold wheels, but good luck with the bike.
