A few weeks ago I picked up a B- King from a buddy with the intention to flip it. It had been sitting for over three years and looked like crap. The main issue was a rusty gas tank due to sitting with ethanol fuel. I used evaporust to clean the tank and it worked great! I purchased a fuel pump on e-bay for cheap because I didn't trust the original due to the rust. I removed all the bodywork and cleaned it up...cleaned up great. Then changed all the fluids, plugs, tires, brakes, air filter etc.. I took it it out for a 100 mile ride this past weekend and was very impressed. I have owned many bike during my 52 yrs and can say this is a special ride. I have owned several Busa's including a 2000 MCXpress turbo(305rwhp) and a turbo gen 2(356rwhp) I remember when the King came out in 08 but didn't care for the looks so bought a 08 busa instead. After a ride on the king it now is a beautiful bike...riding position is perfect and it handles great...and I do like the turns Very Happy Not for sale! I also owned a 09 modded Vmax and this bike fits me way better. The best part is it is the faster gray/silver two tone Hello from E. TN 786369    Mike

Welcome!!! Maybe we'll meet on the road some time. I'm between Chattanooga and Cleveland. I ride a lot over in Western Carolina and N Georgia. I get over to the Cumberland Plateau a couple of time every year too. I haven't ventured too much past Knoxville on the north side. It's an awesome bike.

Thanks for the welcome guys. I did not take any before pics unfortunately. This king is bone stock down to the reflectors and has 17k miles. I plan to de-cat and remove the exhaust valve, do the air box mod and have it tuned using ecu edit. Cosmetically I plan to do a tail tidy that works with factory mufflers and some bar end mirrors. All advise will appreciated. Mike

Hello WD...if you ever head to the Gap or Skyway give me a shout...I am off on wednesdays and sundays. I was planning to get out of bikes but the King has made me reconsider...this thing is a hoot!
