Hi all,

Just paid my deposit on a new b king from street bike in Brum , its the blue and white one , pick it up next Saturday,
I live in leicestershire and already own a BSA b40 and a mk1 1200 bandit, look forward to mixing in and getting some advice ,

Hi Dave and Welcome.

I used to use Streetbike when I lived in the UK
and im a huge fan of the Mk1 Bandits.
Bought another one last year out here.

Yeah, Kings motor and brakes both make the Bandit feel tame
but the old B12 still has a simple basic charm to it. Both good.

I dont mind the later Blue King. Its growing on me.

There's lots of bling and useless crap you can bolt on,
but from personal experience, I recommend...

# Some paddock stand bobbins for the swingarm.
# A radiator guard (Dont ask!!!)
# A black cable tie LOOSE to pull the cables away from the
clocks (some rub and block view) LOOSE around the brake hose.
