Hi Guys, and Girls...
i hope some chicks are on the king, how cool....
Anyway i found this forum after talking to the guys from woolich racing who are really good to deal with by the way! I have a bit of a story with me and the king so i'll share it below...
I first saw schafer's BKING in the streetfightwer mag here in aus, when i was looking for some inspiration for my 01 bandit 1200. i fell in love with the bike at first sight but the bank balance didnt allow me to buy one straight away. I had kind of forgotten about the bking until i was on holidays when i thaught i'd go check one out in the flesh for the first time, it was december 2012. the bike dealer laughed at me and said they hadn't sold them in aus since 2010 i checked out the web for bkings for sale and found a dealer in another state had one brand new 2010 model left in stock, never even started!! i had to have it. so needless to say i bought the last new bking in australia and took deliver of it in feb 2013. i done 6500km on it in the first 12 months, worked out that with a bit of clutch you can drift theese bikes at speeds of up to 180kph! now i must say its time for a change so i pulled the bike off the road and are in the process of installing the powerbronze tank fairings and a few other bits, lots of rizoma parts, i9ts going to be white with a blue pearl, and a shorty acrapovic muffler as they make for the bmw S1000. im also fitting the log box pro and O2 sensor from woolich racing, and thats how i have ended up here im a 30yo guy that just loves the street fighters just as much as i love my bking. it will be a few more months till all the fairings and rims are painted but i can post some progress pics if you guys want, it just looks ordinary with so many colours going on as i mod the bike thats all. anyway i'm looking foward to reading into some topics and learning more about the best bikes in the world!!!
