New B-King owner in Dallas, TX

Just bought my first B-King yesterday, absolutely LOVE it! Don't know a whole lot about these bike, but I am willing to learn! Previous owner did some mods on this one, says it has the TRE switch installed, think he's right since the gear indicator shows 4 instead of 1, just read a thread about this and realized it was "normal". Two Brothers exhaust, custom tail piece, billet license plate bracket, LED's, lowered 1.5 inches, aftermarket windscreen. Bike has about 7K miles and is just about mint! Here some pics, enjoy!

Congrats! 7000 miles, no problem. Have about 14,500 on mine and engine is getting stronger.

That is a nice looking "Faster" Bking!!! lol...I thought about running a side mount lic. plate holder like that, but what are you running for a tail-light??? Pics please? I will be taking my Bking for its first long distance tour this Thursday, I will be in Dallas if you want to hook up and do some riding PM me...I could use someone to show me the area.

G'day mate - welcome to the house!!

New to forums, so bare with me guys. Looking at purchasing a sportbike and I like the b-king, I have ridden one already and it totally fit me. I like the seating position vs other sportbikes I have ridden. I own a cruiser, honda vtx 1800c, but want something more exciting too. My question to you all is this. I see that dealers still have some new ones left so what should the going price be? What is up with the insurance on these things, what should the rate be for full coverage. 35, own a house, 2 cars, full time job, and good credit. I will be financing so I have been told I could just do liability and comprehensive. Is this correct, can this be done in tx. Anyways definately in the market, but apprehensive to the added cost after the intial purchase of the bike. Any info someone could give me would be greatly appreciated, Thanx.

Looks like you would have to remove your side mounted license plate bracket every time you need to put the bike on a rear stand?

Maybe so, how many bolts is that, 4? Guess I will start saving my strength now.

I would like to see pics of your side mount plate too! I have the same exhaust set up as you. BTW 12,000 MILES not a lick of trouble. By far the most fun bike I have ever owned! Unfortunately with the B-King not selling well in the states B-King exlusive events are limited to owners being so far spread apart. However, anywhere I go all riders all bikes want to discuss mine.
