Hi all! Eric, 48, from Driebruggen, Holland.
Proud owner of a 2007 King which has 15.000 kms experience. Full black.


Already planned quite some work.
Will get rid of the seat-pipes and install a Hayabusa-header with a carbon Yoshi-can.
Gonna modify the airbox so more air will be able to come in. Guess I will make it cold air intake.
Then have it dyno-ed. See what the outcome will be.

Coming winter the seat will be replaced with a tail of a Gixxer K7.
And maybe I will change the colour of the wheels. If I don't get aluminum ones..

Cool to see so many enthousiasts about this bike.

Sorry for the late reply.
The cans are custom-made in Belgium. The brand is DAM. Bought the bike like that, and looked up the name.
It turns out they only make custom-exhausts. Nevertheless I will exchange them for a side-pipe. So these will be up for sale some time this year.
Will make a sound-clip of them to accompany the add once they are for sale.
It has a nice sounds to it, nice and dark. But not a big fan of seat-pipes.

Hehe, no problem at all - I write back delayed as well (just got back from my business trip).
It is a pitty that you are going to get rid of the exhaust. The cans look really nice and clean but I understand that you prefer a side exhaust.

Bought some nice Rizoma-mirrors. Will put up a pic when installed.

Installed the mirrors today. Looks great. The view is more or less the same as the original ones. But it's fine for me. Can see what I need to see.

The mirrors look great. Rizoma definitely makes high quality products.

btw. If you are the fastest, you don;t have to care whats behind you
